Vintage Kaoru Kawano Woodcut Girl Praying

This is a vintage Japanese woodcut print from 1960s-70s.  It is by Kaoru Kawano 1926-1989, a printmaker from Hokkaido Japan.  He is noted for his modern approach to traditional woodblock printmaking.  This piece features a young girl praying and is a very bold and minimal design.

Framed artwork is 19.25” x 23.25” x 1”.  Artwork is Oban size 10” x 15”

This is in great vintage condition.  Frame has a few minor nicks
