Rare Vintage Military Order of Malta Medal

Add a touch of history and grace to your collection with this rare military order of Malta medal. Crafted in gilt metal with exquisite enamel details, this 20th century medal and pin set is suspended from a luxurious grosgrain ribbon. Presented in its original velvet and silk lined box, it exudes true elegance and exclusivity.

The larger medal is 6” long in total. The neck ribbon and strap are 15” wide including the elastic extension. 
The smaller pin measures 2.5” long with the ribbon. 
The back of the large medal is stamped with a makers mark below the clip. It appears to read D & C.

There is some wear to the gilt finish on the medal and also to the silver tone buckle that is on the elastic strap. In addition there is some light wear and discoloration to the presentation box. Overall though both are in good vintage condition.
