Antique French Embroidered Velvet Picture Frame

It retains the original hand rolled glass photo cover. The back of the frame has a door that is hinged on top and lifts up to install a photo as shown. The metal brackets around it swivel to lock the door in place. The back is fitted with an easel stand for tabletop display. It also has a metal loop at the top so it can be wall mounted. 

The frame measures 13.25” x 16.25”.
The picture opening is 6 1/8” x 8 3/8”.

The frame exhibits some age appropriate wear and discoloration. The linen on the back is worn in spots and around the edges as shown. Even so this rare frame still presents beautifully!
