Peking Glass Jar or Trinket Box with Lid

Peking glass is a process of layering different colors of glass and then cutting the glass to reveal the color underneath. The process was developed during the 18th century in Peking China. This vintage handmade trinket box uses this technique to create a faceted polka dot effect.

The jar is 2.75” in diameter and 3.25” tall.

There is one small chip on the underside of the lid of the jar. It is otherwise in excellent condition.
