Art Nouveau Iridescent Portrait Vase

This amazing Art Nouveau ceramic vase features a transferware portrait of a beautiful young woman surrounded by a gilt oval and set against a lustrous iridescent finish. It dates to the early 1900’s and is likely Austrian or Czech in origin. 

The vase measures 3.5” in diameter across the base and is 7.5” tall. 

There is wear to the gilding as shown and a light craquelure on the transferware which is typical of a glazed vase of this age. It is otherwise in great antique condition with no chips or cracks.
