Two Khayamiya Egyptian Tentmaker Appliqué Wall Hangings

These wonderful quilted wall hangings were made by the tent makers of Cairo to be sold to tourists between 1900 and 1920. They are both hand stitched with a stylized Egyptian motif.

Each hanging is roughly 17” x 18”.

There is some light fading and wear to the perimeter of the panels. There are also areas of slight discoloration due to age.
