Japanese Woodcut Reprint of Rooster and Hen by Ito Jakuchu

This is a Woodcut Reprint by Ito Jakuchu 1716-1800.  He is a Japanese painter who developed his own style after studying for a short time at the Kano School.  Most of his work depicted flowers and birds.  This signed piece has a rooster and hen next to a flowered stump.  The painting has a write up on the back on Naonobu Kano which I believe has been incorrectly labeled.  The red stamp matches the stamp of Ito Jakuchu.

Framed work is 14.25” x 18.5” x .75”. Artwork is 8” x 12”

Artwork is in great condition.  Frame is in good condition with a few minor nicks and scratches
